2 / Chagall, between war and peace, at Museum of Luxembourg

Everyone knows Chagall’s wonderful work on the Opéra Garnier ceiling, and his “bride”, admired by Julia Roberts in Notting Hill. However, we know less of his war-influenced pieces, marked by the 1917 Revolution, German Occupation and the rise of Nazism. Through this incredible exhibition you will alternate between a state of appeasement and one of disturbance.

3/ Keith Haring at Paris Museum of Modern Art

The Museum of Modern Art and the Centquatre are both exhibiting Haring’s work. As an activist, the artist’s main themes were racism, homophobia, Apartheid and drug abuse. Keith Haring has fought his whole life against the injustices around him, using his art to deliver a message. Celebrated around the world for his half pop half street-art pieces, this exhibition focuses on the artist’s message while setting his pieces in the context of his life.

6/ Ron Mueck at Fondation Cartier

The Australian sculptor Ron Mueck sets sail at the Fondation Cartier from the 16th of april to the 29th of september, presenting for instance six new pieces of which three sculptures were made especially for this event.
